The rocky beach by Newport on Tay is where my Granny and Grandad took their first walk together, the night they first met. When she died a few years ago we scattered her ashes from the furthest out point and let fireworks off. It was quite bizarre but we all knew she’d have laughed like drain at the thought of it.

A guy on nightshift had a heart attack and sadly died early this morning. I didn’t know the guy, but he’s worked with us as a contractor for a good few years now, a lot of the guys knew him pretty well and had nothing but good words to say about him. Pretty somber mood hanging over the place today.
RIP Jock.

Went an interesting route through Fife today, which actually made me less hateful and actually quite sad. The place is a fucking shithole, but it had its heart ripped out. Its hard to recover from that.
Just got a good look at the jack up rig in Dundee docks, now heading out past the Ferry and towards Arbroath, seaside hell. Should catch a bit of the east coast in daylight which will be cool.
